Because they were full before they moved in. A 40-foot Grand Room with a fireplace and grand piano, a movie theater with recliners, a 15-foot waterfall in the garden courtyard, a fitness center and salon, and monthly temple visits.

What does it cost?
Assisted living starts at $3,950 a month and one-bedrooms run to $5,050; memory care is $5,300 to $5,500. That is one all-inclusive rate — utilities, Wi-Fi, three chef-prepared meals a day, housekeeping and linens, concierge service, and transportation to medical appointments. Where a resident lands in the range depends on the apartment and the level of care they need, and an advisor will give you their exact figure on the phone within one business hour.
Is someone awake and on site overnight?
Yes — every night. Trained, certified caregivers are awake and on the floor 24 hours a day, and every resident wears a pendant alert — pressed at the neck or wrist, it notifies the care team immediately. Every bathroom has an emergency pull cord too.
How do I know when it’s time for memory care?
Usually it’s safety, not memory: wandering, a stove left on, doubled or missed medications, a fall. If you recognize two or three of those, it’s worth a conversation — you don’t have to be certain to call.
Do you accept VA benefits or long-term care insurance?
Many families use VA Aid & Attendance or a long-term care policy toward their monthly rate, and our advisors will walk you through what applies to your situation.
Can we bring their own furniture?
Please do. The apartments that feel most like home are the ones filled with a resident’s own things.
